PETER GOEDHART
Peter Goedhart is one of the best known identities in the Aquatic world in Netherlands and the surrounding countries. This is due to his commitment to enhancing Leadership and Business Development in the Aquatic industry and being the main face in Netherlands of the excellent underwater detection for drowning or distress detection system the “Poseidon ® drowning detection system. Peter owns the company Eyeview systems, which is situated in Oss, The Netherlands. The company delivers security and health systems and products for public swimming pools.
Peter specialises in presentations for Business Development, Security Studies, Lifeguard training, Leadership Studies, Presentation and Performance dynamics.
Peter was born and bred in the beautiful village of Arnhem, The Netherlands. As a child he hated the swimming lessons he was forced to have. He found these cold and boring and always felt there must be a better way to make such lessons fun and exciting. As he grew up and he began triathlon training this led to his keen interest to develop Aquatics and be associated with those who are leaders in this field, especially in the development and further research of such. This is how and why he and GAIN*GLOW developed an association.
His hobbies include writing/submitting articles for specialist journals. In his hunt for news and development of Aquatics in many ways, in December 2003 he came in contact with Evelyn and Greg Keyes. They being the pioneers for a new water sport activity in the Netherlands/Germany/Belgium called Hydrocycling. Peter had known Evelyn for many years previously, as she was one of Netherlands leading International/National presenters on Aquatic Exercise and Swim Teaching Instruction at conventions and courses for various Organisations.
After submitting an article written by Evelyn to one of the Magazines on Hydrocycling this created a huge amount of interest as it coincided with other activities GAIN*GLOW - Greg and Evelyn Keyes were doing in the Aquatic World across the Globe. This interest was a signal the market wanted a new sports activity, and was preparing to accept such. Hydrocycling then took off, and now is the hype of the Aquatic World in these countries, with many other Organizations copying their example.
Peter is the representative for the Aquatic-cycling bike (Splash Aqua-Rider, designed and created in a typical Dutch factory, in Netherlands). He links these bikes with the education offered by the GAIN*GLOW courses given by the GAIN*GLOW trained Master Trainers, people who have proven to have outstanding ability to train future cycling instructors and instructors in all realms of Aquatic Exercise.
